THE CASTLE PARK, STANHOPE, CO. DURHAM, DL13 2LU | 28th - 29th JUNE 2019
AERIAL MAP OF FESTIVAL SITE [CLICK HERE FOR MAP]
Campers please note - if you have camping tickets and would like to camp near to friends, please try to ensure you enter the site all together, as camping plots will be filled up sequentially. There is no designated meeting area inside the site, so if you want to camp together, simply advise the marshals and they’ll organise camping spaces next to you, after you've parked up in the car park, to be kept for your mates, for when they arrive. It will work well, as all vehicles will now be parked separately to tents, in the car park right next door, and we’ll be there to help with your camping arrangements. Please note, live-in vehicles such as campers, caravans, motorhomes, etc, will not be able to pitch up in the Tents section for safety reasons. If you have any other specific camping requirements or queries, please email us at email@example.com or Contact page and we will do everything we can to help you. Also note that camping tickets will not be available on the gate - camping is pre-sale only.
Due to high ticket demand we operate two equally beautiful camping sites, Castle Park (Site A) & Stanhope Showground (Site B), which are situated either side of the river and accessible via the footbridge. In 2019 both sites will have 4 sections for :
1) Motorhomes/Caravans/Camper Vans/Live-In Vehicles, 2) Tents, 3) Car Parking and 4) Scooters and tents. There will be a team on each site with trolleys, to help you unload your camping gear, and if in a tent with a car, your car will be parked close by next door in the secure car parking section. Site B is the larger site and recommended for people looking for a quieter pitch and with lots of space for big motorhomes or caravans with awnings, etc. Camp Site C location will be announced in the near future and tickets for Site C will be available at that time.
CAMPING TICKETS are charged per person and include free vehicle parking in the secure car park. Under 16’s are FREE but tickets are limited to 2 per Adult ticket order and must be booked when ordering Adult tickets. When ordering tickets please make sure they are booked for your preferred camping site.
MOTORHOMES/CARAVANS/CAMPER VANS/LIVE-IN VEHICLES: A Permit for all vehicles used for camping must be pre-booked when ordering camping tickets. Due to space restrictions on the Main Site A (Castle Park) there is a £10 surcharge and limited numbers available, but there is no surcharge on the Site B Showground.
FOOD & DRINK you may bring limited food and drink on the site when you arrive, for personal consumption only. A small food picnic in a bag or holdall (no rucksacks or large cool boxes) is allowed, plus one 500ml plastic, sealed and previously unopened bottle of soft drink or water is permitted. However, your own alcohol may not be consumed in the designated entertainment area due to licensing restrictions. NO GLASS or metal utensils are allowed on site due to Health & Safety restrictions.
DOGS are permitted but need to be kept on a lead at all times, with any fouling picked up and disposed of in the appropriate area.
BBQ’s are allowed on site but must be controlled and not lit directly on the ground or inside tents. They must be disposed of when safe to do so in the designated rubbish area.
OPEN FIRES are not allowed on site due to safety reasons.
